I gave these bells 5 stars for the price (you get two, well!), works great and was received with no problems. The bells ring twice, as shown in a video. One sound when pushing forward and one sound when releasing.2. The only problem I have (not enough to *ring* the star) is that I like to push the lever forward. However, it is arranged in such a way that the lever acts in one direction. This means if I want to push the lever forward with my thumb, I have to place the bell on the left side and use my left hand. If I put this bell on the right side, then I can ring the bell with my index finger in a pulling motion. I ended up placing the bell on the left side. My ideal product would be a pressing motion with my right thumb with my right hand. Just a personal preference that I think you might be interested in. Also a great product. Nice loud clear tones.
