Review on 🍴 Farberware Replacement Handle - Short P08-031 Saucepan Handle by Shawn Price

Sloppy casting and missing mounting screw ruins otherwise nice handle

The original handle on my pot cracked and I just fixed it with a zip tie and epoxy which worked for years but eventually worked to fall apart and instead of throwing away a perfectly good frying pan, I decided to buy this replacement handle. The plastic is a little less dense than the original which leads me to believe it won't be as durable over time. Although the molding is the same as the original, the stitching is thick and heavy and had to be filed to fit the palette. It's shiny and smooth, which is nice, but again, I'm skeptical about its durability. There are no screws included which is a big minus. I was able to use my old one but the head is quite badly dented and it would be nice to have a new screw to attach this grip. It fits and works, but time will tell if it's worth it. 14 dollars. I keep the old pin in case it breaks and fails.
