Average time to failure: 4 minutes. Then it melted.

Boiled water with new handle. When it came to the temperature, the handle cracked, a small piece flew away and the handle began to melt. The original handle of the product has worked normally for over 30 years. This is not a good product replacement.

The new cartridge is the same as the old one

Received a set of Faberwear pots 30 years ago and they are still in excellent condition. The handle of my smallest pot is cracked (picture). ) about 5 years ago and I was in the process of replacing it - I finally got tired of constantly tightening the screw. The new one fits perfectly and the quality seems to be the same. I thought the price was high but spread the cost over another 30 years and got about 1p a week.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No paint required

Saved my favorite pan

I read the reviews before purchasing this replacement handle. While I wasn't so sure it would work, I decided to take a chance and salvage my favorite little 8" pan. The old handle was cracked and became so wobbly that it was really unsafe to use. i am so satisfied This handle was easy to put on and my little pot was like new. I bought a second one for a small pot from the same set. Very satisfied.

Received a Pen - Cookware Accessories

This pen has been updated after 45 years. old pot for dishes. Yes, they don't make them anymore. However, this short grip was an exact substitute. It's a heavy plastic material that feels strong rather than light. the handle is present. PLEASE read the product description ---> it says NO SCREW [-handle-] is included. I hope the old one is still alive. Check the back of the litter box. and I cook!

Spare Junk - Kitchen & Dining

This is the second time I've ordered this item. The plastic seems cheaper than before and definitely cheaper than the original. Since a replacement screw is not included, be careful not to damage the original screw when removing the old screw. After replacing the handle, I used the pot with the new handle on my stovetop to boil water. I smelled a burning smell, looked at the pan and the handle started to smoke and I heard it crackle. Obviously the computer is garbage. Very disappointed with…

Excellent pen. Just make sure you find the right screw.

The handle is made of durable, hard material, well made and fits well. However, we are unhappy that there is no screw included in the kit to attach it to the pan. We needed a thick screw, and at home we only had thin short screws. We finally found one that fit, but ended up tearing off the pot so none of the screws fit now. You may need to glue the handle back on now, but I'm not sure how secure that is. Don't want spilling boiling hot water if the handle breaks. But since the handle fits well,

Sloppy casting and missing mounting screw ruins otherwise nice handle

The original handle on my pot cracked and I just fixed it with a zip tie and epoxy which worked for years but eventually worked to fall apart and instead of throwing away a perfectly good frying pan, I decided to buy this replacement handle. The plastic is a little less dense than the original which leads me to believe it won't be as durable over time. Although the molding is the same as the original, the stitching is thick and heavy and had to be filed to fit the palette. It's shiny and…

It fits in my 30 year old Farberware pan!

I've been looking for weeks for a quality non-toxic nonstick pan of any size to complement my all clad pans which aren't really as smooth and dense as they seem. despite its cost. There is nothing of high quality, including enamel. They all have bad reviews, don't last long, give off deadly fumes, etc. So I rummaged through my old pots in a storage box and found my Farberware pot, which I got from a relative, somewhere along the way. Handle and lid were missing. But in desperation I tried…
