Be prepared to make several adjustment attempts when your cat is restless. It doesn't seem to restrict the cat's freedom of movement. In fact, my normally calm house cat was able to wriggle out of my hand and climb onto my back with amazing strength when I tried to lead her outside. After tying up the cat, she became quite obedient in my lap. Problems: It needs to be properly dressed, or a motivated cat may wriggle out under pressure. (Our cat grew up indoors and doesn't like big outdoor spaces or people who aren't us) - I wouldn't recommend carrying a cat on a harness if, like my cat, most of the weight is on the back. It seems appropriate for getting him out of situations, but be prepared to take your cat's weight. The D-ring is UNDER the handle which can cause leash issues. I haven't tested this yet as the cat would immediately go into "resistance raft" mode if placed on the ground or floor.
