I had previously tried several models of lifts, both locally and online, and I returned them all, mainly because the pivoting mechanism that controls the jacking screw required a significant amount of effort to turn motorcycle to lift earth. Disappointed and a bit skeptical, I bought this model because of the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. This thing is perfect, and based on how simple and easy it is to use, I'm curious as to why other manufacturers get it so wrong. I put this lift on a small 4 wheel wooden cart, rolled it under the motorbike's engine, jacked it up and then rolled the bike around the garage to any location I wanted. I first bought one for my 235 lb off-road bike. I then bought a second one and used it to prop up a 290 lb Yamaha. Perfect, stylish, easy to use, durable and the swivel mechanism is easy to operate with your fingers - no wrench, drill or anything other than turning with one hand required. Yes, if I had more bikes I would buy more. Buy it.
