THIS IS NOT A SAFE PRODUCT. DO NOT WORK ON THE MOTORCYCLE ON THIS JACK.

THIS IS NOT A SAFE PRODUCT. DO NOT WORK ON THE MOTORCYCLE ON THIS JACK. When stretched, this device has SIGNIFICANT lateral play. I used this item to lift a drz400 which is a relatively light bike that has a load capacity of about 1/4 the advertised load capacity of 1100lb. Even before the tires were off the ground, it became clear that this device was extremely unsafe. It wobbles several inches from side to side even with a light touch of the bike. THIS IS NOT A SAFE PRODUCT. DO NOT WORK ON…

If he lifted my £900 Goldwing he would lift almost any bike!

I bought this to get my 900lb Honda Goldwing off the ground while I change forks. I was skeptical at first, but it really worked. The small wrench that came with the kit is junk and doesn't produce enough torque for a heavy bike. I used an air ratchet and a socket to get it off the floor. It seems solid enough with a tire still touching the pavement, but when they both lifted I didn't want to start pulling on the bolts and this behemoth went down. I jacked myself up under the guard rail and the

This is an amazing little lift

We bought this to do something out of the ordinary for a motorcycle lift. We have an electric bed and my wife has a physical disability that prevents her from getting into the bed because the legs of the bed are too high and therefore the bed is too high. So I bought this lift to raise her about 6 inches and it works great. I have a high torque drill and use it to rotate the machine. It works well! But one question I would like to write to the seller is that due to the fact that we do not lift…

Exceptional - Transmission jack

Very strong. Don't worry about frame damage. I raise my bike 1 inch for winter storage so the wheels don't touch the concrete. After finding the perfect balance, I trust it won't tip from side to side. I recommend always leaving the footrest in the down position in case you forget to put it down when lowering the bike. I had no choice and placed the lift directly behind the footrest. The front wheel barely touches the concrete and has a mat placed underneath. The rear of the 240 is 1 inch off…

Not sure! The stand is very wobbly as all the connections are very loose. In fact, there is over-tolerance in all compounds. The stand tilts a lot from side to side. It is very dangerous when a motorcycle is in front. Stay away from this "Made in China" product. This company focuses more on marketing than delivering a quality product. You just buy something from China and throw it in a box. They do not include protective packaging to keep the carton volume below the flat rate carton volume…

Worth it!: Garage and Shop

I bought this for one of my bikes, the Triumph Speed Twin, which does not come with a center stand. I've considered buying an extra center stand, but at $120 plus setup time, this lift makes more sense. I can use it on other bikes and it takes up almost no space in the garage. The rubber pad on top provides traction and the jack is easy to lift (I did this with one foot while holding the bike upright). Both bikes lift off the ground slightly and the top deck is wide enough to provide a stable…

ideal mechanism.

I had previously tried several models of lifts, both locally and online, and I returned them all, mainly because the pivoting mechanism that controls the jacking screw required a significant amount of effort to turn motorcycle to lift earth. Disappointed and a bit skeptical, I bought this model because of the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. This thing is perfect, and based on how simple and easy it is to use, I'm curious as to why other manufacturers get it so wrong. I put this lift on a…

Suitable for lifting light loads

I used it to install sliders on my RAM PowerWagon - each weighs 115 pounds. The platform was perfect for balancing the 9ft steel skids, making installation easy by one person. The 14.5 inch lift height was a little short, but it was easy to jack it up a few 2x8 seconds for the bridge. So far, so good. Now it's not so good. This unit is made in China and is not a precision unit as several other reviews have noted. Having read other reviews I have been very careful with tightening and lubricating

Trusting Negative Reviews

First of all, I'm always wary of super negative reviews because I often think they're exaggerated. That's how I felt about reviews of this product when people cited its instability and build quality, at least until I got mine today. To be honest, it seems whoever assembled this thing on the assembly line either ran out of parts, interest, or motivation to finish the job. Right out of the box, the top plate that lifts the bike swung up and down at least two inches in each direction. So much so…
