Don't eat your pencil!

This is the second time I buy this sharpener. I had the first one for about a year before the blade became noticeably dull. I LOVE this sharpener and will always have it. It won't corrode all of my expensive crayons which means they last longer! A twist or two in this bad boy and you have a nice sharp point for pencil detailing. I also like the adjustable tip size. When working with a softer pencil I choose smaller tips so they break less, and with a harder pencil I prefer setting 3 or 4. There are only two minor inconveniences I have with this sharpener. First you need to empty it a bit as there isn't much space to store chips, but a little is better than nothing. Second, you have to stick the pin in quite a bit before you can get to the blade. it only matters if you're the kind of person (like me) who wants to milk the last few inches of your tiny pencil.

Works well for marking wood and other project materials with less frequent pencil point breaks
