Just what we needed

We needed something we could place our hot pots/pans/baking dishes on because we didn't want to risk cracking our granite counter tops. These were just as expected. They look and feel very sturdy. I haven't tried them to open jars yet. They do seem a bit thick to use for that, but I will update my review as soon as or if it gets used for other things. But for now, using them to place our hot stuff has worked great!
