It was pretty easy to put together but unpacking was a bit messy. There's some sort of part paint that gets sprayed in strands over the metal parts, leaving a char-like residue on the metal and in the packaging so you'll probably need to vacuum or sweep afterwards. The top is reclaimed wood but seriously, some effort could have been made to level the surface. From the looks of it, the wood on my cart/table has waves (and I'm not talking about grain). They're not very big, but it would be problematic if I ever wanted to write anything on them. Luckily I only use it to store my laptops and mouse as my computer desk is too high. Still, that shouldn't bother anyone, so I'm deducting a few stars. I wouldn't recommend this for writing (other than the waves on the wood). very soft) and also if you like cleanliness, because paint residues constantly come off when touched with something. Otherwise keep it up.
