Well I got them over a year ago and I keep them in my car so I never forget them when I go to the THEATER. I read a lot of negative reviews about people saying they don't work and over half of them talked about using it with 3D TVs at home. Of course they don't work for that! This is for cinemas. Also, you need to know what type you use in cinemas. If you go to IMAX, use IMAX lenses. Almost everything else uses RealD 3D technology, so they'll likely see a lot more use. Passive 3D technology depends on the type of cinema and is basically not compatible with 3D home TVs. To do this, you must purchase the exact type of glasses that your manufacturer recommends. That could be a big reason why nobody makes 3D TVs anymore. Don't be fooled by negative reviews. These things are great. I would say the picture is misleading - they have no writing on the outside and the only writing is on the case - so make sure you use the correct ones and put them back in the correct case or you will find out for yourself hate when you're in the theater.
