Great for pruning in my review
Pruning seems to wear out blades faster than normal, maybe because so many of our trees are hardwood.
These carbide blades do a great job pruning branches several inches thick. They work fine on hardwood (fruit trees) and cut softwoods (pine) like butter.

- The carbide is prone to chipping, reducing the blade's lifespan
