Works great with a few simple tips.

Works as advertised and costs much less than ordering a new switch. However, I recommend a few things.1. Take a razor blade to scrape off the old stuff and bring a trash can to put under you while you work as trash is pretty messy. It took me 10 minutes to clean all the surfaces to remove anything old. The plastic of the switch is hard and smooth, so I didn't noticeably damage it. Don't try to keep the plastic washers in the old block, the new bolts included in the kit have wider heads (they seem to have thought of that aspect).2. The low profile ratcheting tool requires a lot less work than the included screwdriver (e.g. Anex 425 worked very well for me).3. When you pull out the switch, pay attention to its orientation. You can reset it any way you like, but the switch has a plastic tab you can use to hook the button, and it's not symmetrical. The same comb makes it harder to stretch the new part, but it still seemed to work fine and seal everything. The wiring also comes from one side and you don't want to weigh it down.4. Just leave the back door closed while you work. Opening too high for access and partially lowering it allows electric propulsion, present on many models. Bring a chair if you need to get there. You don't want to kneel on old gum slime (see my suggestion of bringing a trash can). All in all, it was more work than it should have been given the nasty old rubber, but definitely less work than taking the lift apart. Gate to replace the switch. Have fun fixing.
