We have a 100 foot garland that we put up on our patio and by the pool. Most of the lights can be attached to our tall palm trees, but there is a section in the corner of our yard where we need a tall support beam. I've had friends make them out of concrete buckets and things like that, but I saw this and it just looks like an easy fix to our problem. It took about 10 minutes to screw tight. The top section through which you pull the rope and squeeze tight. The base of the pole didn't wobble or shake after I tightened it in the right places and vacuumed up the dirt just to demonstrate how firmly it was in the ground. This will actually go up a hill of sorts, so it's important that it's stable. I appreciate the availability and cost of this useful part of the project.
