Review on 🔧 M15 Oil Drain Plug Tap Thread Repair Kit: Restore Oil Pan Screws with Rethreading Tool by Timothy Spinner

I have used this on a 2007 Honda Odyssey with no problems. On my last oil change I found that the drain plug was no longer holding torque and upon further investigation found that the hole was unthreaded. This tool comes with 6 drain plugs, so plan on using your neighbors and friends' drain plugs as well. The faucet is made of hardened steel and the 11mm head is perfect for the square adapter. On the Odyssey I had no clearance issues at all. Just align and rotate. This tool was surprisingly easy to turn for a faucet, which made me wonder if I should upgrade to a 16mm kit. It turns out that the aluminum used in the oil pan is softer than plastic and the faucet is effectively tapping new threads. You can see from my photos this leak made a mess. I used to have a puddle in my driveway, but it's gone now.
