I purchased these and installed them on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck with plastic caps that screw onto threaded nuts. The only downside was that they had to have at least one more thread to hold the plastic acorn nuts securely. Dome nuts have half as many threads as the standard nuts they replace. You can order a spare key for $20 - just in case. I've had occasions where tire shops have forgotten to change the wheel lock key in my cars and luckily I discovered this before I was involved in a freeway accident.
