Review on 🌊 PHROZEN Aqua Green Resin for Rapid 3D Printing by Jason Chaplain

Revainrating 3 out of 5

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR DETAILED MINIATURES

PROS:-Prints SUPER fast-Solid parts are a comfortable weight-Not brittle with proper post-curing (1-3 minutes in water)-Inexpensive CONS :- Very poor for detailed models - Either too weak for easy support or too exposed - Smells strong compared to the competition - More viscous than the competition - Slightly more expensive than the competition's fast resin This resin is great in some ways and prints VERY fast, dumb to say quickly. I have found that the ideal exposure time for capturing detail on my Creality resin printer (LD-002R) is around 3 seconds. It's insanely fast and the details will be perfect. But all supported models will fail at this exposure time. Especially pre-supported models that you can easily find on Patreon. This has also caused problems with models printed in multiple parts, as overexposure (to avoid crashes) causes them to mismatch. Screens, it's a great resin. However, if you need small details on models, this resin is not for you. Instead, I would go for the fast resin of the competition. It's cheaper, has less odor, and is highly recommended by many. I pretty much decide to use this to print simple bases for models. They require no support and no detail is lost due to the low exposure.

Pros
  • Low viscosity and odor
Cons
  • Only available in white
