Took a risk and regretted the purchase a bit. Cricut brand rugs are insanely expensive, but you get what you pay for. These mats are the right size and hold the material well. However, the glue on the mat comes off and sticks to my work. I've used them on some cardboard cut out letters and when I placed the letter into my project with my tweezers the edge of the letter stuck to my tweezers and wouldn't release on its own which is extremely frustrating when I'm doing delicate work Work. I also cut out some cardboard post card earrings and the leftovers on the back ensure the lint will stick to the paper. Pooh. I wish I could spend that money on another set of Cricut brand rugs to have in the future. They can work well with other materials, but expect a sticky layer on anything that comes in contact with the mat.
