Beautiful mats! They are just SUPER SUPER sticky when you first use them. I've been using mine for a week now and they're just starting to loosen up a bit. Be careful, they ripped off a few pieces or the vinyl backing when trying to peel the carpet off. It was easier for me to turn the rug over and separate it from the sheet. I also took a good thick cloth and taped it on and off a few times so it held my paper but not so much that I couldn't get it off. Overall good price and quality.

I used a standard mat once and found that the adhesive had come loose and was all over the backing sheet. It was a sticky vinyl project so it wasn't a big deal. I was just removing the protective film when I saw that most of the mat adhesive on the mat remained on the clear film as you can see in the picture. Took a risk and regretted the purchase a bit. Cricut brand rugs are insanely expensive, but you get what you pay for. These mats are the right size and hold the material well. However, the glue on the mat comes off and sticks to my work. I have decided to use instead to try these branded rugs. They seemed good at first but they are definitely of poor quality compared to the original. My first complaint is that they are very thin. This often causes the mats to warp in the machine, resulting in an inaccurate cut. They're also not big enough for the car, which can be a problem.
