Great for 75 gallons. The suction is just right, not too fast but powerful enough to really clean my tank. Since I use mine, I attached a plastic garden hose bib to the end of the siphon hose and attached it to the garden hose. With the other end of the garden hose still attached to the faucet, I turn on the faucet, which causes water to flow into the tank. Then, without turning off the water, I unscrew the water hose, creating a suction in the siphon. After complete separation, the water will drain away, then clean the gravel as usual. I think the limitation of the long hose prevents the siphon from sucking up water at a high rate which I've read about in some other reviews. I was happy with the speed and performance. A very clean method and I no longer have to lug around buckets of water. I'm just cleaning the tank. Hope that helps.
