I have a 2002 Toyota Tundra 4.7 engine. I paid for the starter motor replacement which is an expensive proposition as you have to remove the manifold to access the starter motor underneath. My truck started normally within the first month. Then he couldn't start my truck on the way to work. I thought it was the battery as I was out of town for 5 days. Weird, but I charged it up and oh, the next day it was up and running. OK. then a week later it happened again. stranded. I found someone to jump on me and here we go. Then after a few weeks it wouldn't start and wouldn't jump again. I called a friend for a ride and he found the starter through a hole in the manifold and hit it with a pull. and started right away. I decided to restore the factory Toyota I had started and paid again to get that out and get the Toyota back. Ever since the factory defaults were installed I have had no problems starting my truck. Unfortunately, by the time all of this happened I had lost my window to get it back. :-( Starting at $74 and just sitting on my desk in the garage. Doesn't cost me anything. If this seller is willing to pay for return shipping that would be awesome. The bill for fitting and replacing this starter over a few months was a staggering one financial burden.
