These filters last about a week, a week and a half! If you are lucky you can get two weeks of it. You're going to keep wasting money and reordering them, throwing away those giant plastic filters and the packaging they come in several times a month, over and over again when you buy a Zero Water dispensing system. I must admit that within the first week or a week and a half you installed them, they will be great! They will work fine and the water will taste great and you will get 000 readings on your meter. Then, seemingly overnight, your water will taste awful (worse than out of the tap, like mold or something is wrong) and when you measure it with a meter you get a very high reading. What's frustrating is that the company knows about it, but you don't know until you buy and use it. When I changed the first filter, I saw that the packaging solved the problem. I didn't see it on the filter that came with the dispenser. It said if you change your filters often then you have a water problem and you need to call the number to inquire about a discount filter 'program'. A friend who bought the same unit and filters as I did, on my hasty and naive recommendation, called the company and said yes, filters wear out very quickly for people living in areas with certain water conditions. They no longer offered help. Big. My friend has already set up a water delivery service and I will do the same. This is much cheaper per month than replacing these filters and saves on material waste in the long run. I recommend NOT buying them and looking for other options. We are in a rented house and cannot install a permanent filtration system, but there are options for home water delivery!
