Review on Nutritious Royal Canin Dry Food For Young Kittens: Enhance Feline Health With A 3.5 Lb Bag by Prince Fratto

Kitty Loves Royal Canin the Most

This is the best value size (15lb) available at retail for a top rate cat food that my new kitten loves. She only got it as a treat sprinkled on top of a cheaper mix when she was fostered out by the shelter, but I switched her to pure Royal Canin Kitten (dry) as well as Royal Canin Kitten wet. She's almost 6-months old and will be on the Kitten kibble and wet formulas until she is 1. Then I plan on sticking with this brand and picking another adult formula, through her stages of life. I've never had a cat that didn't love Royal Canin. It's a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it so I'm sticking with it.

Pros
  • Provides energy for active play and growth
Cons
  • Formula does not promote healthy immune function in kittens
