Extremely smooth, excellent workability

As a professional artist this is one of my favorite watercolor top papers. It is very smooth and works differently than a cold press. Cold pressed paper has a rougher texture and watercolors move differently on it. A smooth surface does not require much "cleaning". So if you're new to watercolor painting, a student who isn't great with paper, or a kid just learning, there's no need to "beat" it like cold print. For those interested in the craft, it works well with many die-cutting machines such as the Big Shot series. For the money this product is worth it.
