A nice set, almost indistinguishable from the factory sets. I bought them and installed them on my 2005 MB SLK55 AMG. It took me 20 minutes because I didn't know some of the tricks specific to my car. For those buying these for their SLK55 or SLK series, remove the rubber bumpers and then the plastic covers holding the rubber bumpers from one of the arms. . You will need to use a flathead screwdriver to remove the plastic cases. They are strong, but be careful not to break them - The trunk lid now lifts fully. This is key for later easy installation of new posts - Now remove the metal clips from the factory post using a flat head screwdriver at the top and bottom of the post - Remove the post from the spherical end studs. They are easy to remove - Align both ends of the new support correctly and snap both ends into place. Hold the metal clips on the bracket. There is resistance, but line up the end of the ball with the hole and push the end into place. Repeat on the other side. Replace the plastic housing and rubber bumpers. Ready :)
