I'm totally new to mesh routers so I didn't want to permanently mess things up without following the instructions. (It seems to me now that I can go back to the factory settings) There is no indication of a manual setting and I hate being forced to use the app to use the product! Universal product! Also, the app requires, that location information is enabled, what's stupid!I prefer it so much that my cell phone has no location information,because all I need is a cell phone,not a mobile computer,but I can't get it.Smartphones are not universal,punish me not if I don't have them!Especially for the flagship product!On the other hand the app was nice and relatively polished mu I think you get the best Performance with relative stationarity. Also, Zen doesn't come with a password by default, which is a nice surprise, and it asked if I wanted to enable remote access in quick setup! (which I definitely voted NO) The AiMesh node is about 30ft and 2 walls away and it works fine. I guess people with signal strength issues don't realize they're not connected, there's just one central hub. I'm glad I don't have to run Ethernet. The prioritization seems to be very good with the default settings. Overall I'm pretty happy apart from the insane app which I'm afraid every service requires. To stay updated. Also, I'm sorry, I'm so angry at what the rest of the world thinks is normal. But for that it lost 2 stars.
