This is better than I was hoping for! Sits right on top of the Norpro 6.5 Jelly Strainer Stand and doesn't slip off when I pour almond milk into the blender in this one. I didn't even have to tighten the string! I let the mixture sit for a while, then went back and squeezed it out, which gave me the idea to call it "Mandeleuter" (sorry). When it came time to take out the very last pieces, I simply removed it from the ring, tightened the cord and got the last piece. Another bonus is the thoughtful design with seams on the outside and no corners to tidy. The rounded bottom also drips right down the middle, so there's no risk of it crowding the bowl at the corners like square ones can. I was wary of buying this because no one mentioned using it with a stand, but I can honestly tell you it was such an improvement over a simple squeeze. Even on its own, this is the best mesh bag I've ever used. Finally I have no doubt it will be great for cheeses, jellies or whatever you make as the stitching is perfect with a chain stitch and another over stitch. . The fabric is of excellent quality and the mesh is fine enough to make a smooth 'milk'. I'm so happy!
