I just connected this to the ESP8266 NodeMCU board with Arduino IDE and firmware and it works great with the Adafruit BME280 library. As others have said, all I had to do was change the I2C address to 0x76. The temperature and humidity readings seem to be comparable to the readings from the DHT22 sensor which I replaced with this one as I also needed the barometric pressure readings. I wish they were a little cheaper but I only need one of these, the rest of my boards will be fine with DHT22 for temp and humidity. I'll be using it indoors year-round, but outdoors, so I'll let you know if I find problems with it in extreme temperatures (at least as extreme as they can be in the Chicago area).
