This remote control is exactly as advertised. All buttons and functions are in one place and work great as soon as you put the batteries in. No pairing or setup is required. Our original lost the ability to change input ports, and this replacement was up and running in less than 30 seconds. Just take the number from the front of the original (it's printed very small under all the buttons) and make sure it's on the list of compatible numbers. Of the many times I've had to replace original remotes, this was the easiest and most accurate.
