I am very satisfied with this product as I (Mac user) have been using it for several days. It's just great learning this piece of gear from top to bottom. This will really help you sort things out when flying IFR. Installation on a Mac is easy if you carefully follow the installation instructions on the company's website, particularly regarding where to put certain files. However, I wish they would completely separate the Mac instructions from the PC instructions. I encountered an error and very quickly received a helpful email response that resolved the issue. I am using this 530 box from a 15 port USB hub and it works fine. And yes, when the Mac is turned off, the 530 (essentially the second monitor) turns off automatically. Now I'm tempted to take a large (very good, heavy steel) mounting plate and put the 430 under it. Kudos to RealSimGear!
