OK, but there are far better options

Seems cheaply made. The good news first: I ordered these for a Harbor Freight Palm Sander (#9343) and the holes in these dust collector disks match this pad perfectly. Unfortunately, the overall impression of these discs is not very good (compared to Mestool). The 6" branded discs I last ordered for air tools.) First, the grit on these discs seems uneven and is much less densely packed than Mestool discs; as a result, this is the same brand disk, z. B. a 120, not as smooth as Mestool discs. While they work, my initial test on a single cabinet door doesn't seem to show them lasting as long as Mestool washers. Keep in mind that I'm comparing a cheap 5" electric sander versus a 6" air sander (both are random orbit sanders) so the difference in finish quality may not just be due to different sanding wheels. And a comment on the color - I absolutely do not know if the " "Gold"discs sold by some companies are supposed to be better than regular eyebrows. n grinding wheels (but I doubt that matters); However, those "gold" discs are only gold because they're thinly sprayed with crappy yellow paint that wears off quickly. In contrast, the Mestool discs I have are NOT painted - the gold color appears to be a single piece of construction, and the even and very smooth grain surface (in any grit) never changes color as it wears down. don't buy this brand anymore.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity
