
It's smaller than the "official board" in raspberry, but larger. The fan could be 1. smaller 2. quieter. For example, use 15 x 15 x 4mm 3.3v-5v type RFA1504 ($7 on eBay - not available on Amazon) instead of 1cm high. And the screws in the existing fan should be reversed. The nut should be on the bottom and the bolts should be 3mm shorter. BUT still way better than most other PEO boards listed (tried 5 different ones, some are really clumsy, don't allow a hat on top). Update: Adding an 18 ohm resistor to the fan cable solves the noise issue, the fan may be slower but still seems adequate without significantly increasing fan runtime.
