An excellent lens for a "budget set" for a beginner amateur photographer. High quality pictures for a low price. Well complements the 50mm EF "portrait". Different pros: Light Pretty crisp Excellent viewing angle No noticeable distortion fast focus Cons: Only for crop. Buy a full-frame carcass - say goodbye to the pancake.
