Review on Upgrade Your Home'S Comfort: Insulated Magnetic Door Curtain With Self-Sealing Technology by Brian Stepp

Has its flaws but I would buy again.

It's not pretty, but it works so well that it makes up for it. Install tip: dont stretch it taut - it closes more naturally when it has about a finger's width of slack on each side (I just misalign the velcro a bit when I am laying the sides down in place). As long as you walk through it with purpose, it closes properly. If you walk slowly, you'll want to kick it open after you pass through so that it has the chance to return to its place. You get used to it fast, kind of like closing a door behind you.I use it between the kitchen and the mud room, which is not insulated, but the dogs often occupy it to watch wildlife through the windows. You can see that this door keeps a differential of 47 in the mud room to 65 in the house when it's 33 outside. The dogs got used to this door faster than the other type of door which styles its magnets to overlap on the closure. These flaps, instead, meet in the middle and kiss, which seems to be more intuitive for the dogs. It also appears to break away with more ease, as the dogs have never ripped off the side velcro in these (but they have on the overlap style).I'm posting so much because the reviews had me on the fence, but I'm glad I took the chance.I think it would be perfect if it looked prettier and probably if it had few more magnets. Still, worth it.

Not sure if it’s just my house but it comes off the Velcro very easily. Bottom of it got a little destroyed fast
