It comes with one of the holes if it has it. It was wrapped in a drawstring so someone would know someone had messed it up before giving it to me. I'm sure the seller would have replaced it which is why I didn't return it. Everything was in order. I recommend just getting a pair of mid-size Vans sneakers. These shoes probably offer 15% more ankle protection with slightly thicker foam on the ankles, but that's negligible. The shoe's outsole has an odd attempt at a comfortable outsole that actually looks like you're walking on 50 little dots. It takes time to get used to. Vans are more comfortable to walk on and I think the sole is better. If I could go back, I would just order vans. The price is the same but there are more flowers. They are also a bit big. I wear 10.5-11 on Vans but ordered 10 for these.
