Review on πŸ‘‰ Titanium Metal Quick Release Easy Fit Watch Band with Double Button Clasp for Garmin Fenix 5 5 Plus 6 6 Pro/Forerunner 935/945 Smartwatch, Black by April Medellin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A cheaper OEM alternative with a durable finish.

Update (5/12/2020): I am updating my original review from four months ago. I originally gave it 3 stars because it had a few small scratches and I didn't think the finish would be durable. Although I've accumulated quite a few scratches in just four months, I'm really impressed with the durability of the watch. See, I'm very stubborn and don't like taking my watch off when I'm working on something. I work a lot on my car and don't let the clock tick while I get my hands under the hood, suspension/brakes and exhaust system. It even has traces of paint when I painted the valve cover. The updated photos show that the watch case itself has more scratches than the strap. So I increased my rating to 4 stars because the color is very durable. First Rating: Good: Half-length links for a perfect fit. It's easy to customize the OEM look and feel. Cheaper alternative to the OEM. Bad: Harder than it should be. Doesn't look durable. The group came up with a simple tool to remove/install links. Links were easy to remove/install. I noticed that the pins have some corrosion on the shaft. Let's see how they behave over time. Some of the links had scratches on arrival. It looks like they just used a rattle judging by the thickness of the paint. I don't expect it to stay good for long. Matte black suits my Fenix 5. I've had a titanium watch before and the strap felt heavier than it should be. I attached a magnet to it and it turned out that the only non-ferrous metal parts were the real links and external clasps. End nodes, pins and internal parts of the fastener are made of iron. Overall I don't think this band is worth the price but it's still a lot cheaper than buying an OEM. I plan to update this review in a year or if/when it breaks.
