multimeter test leads are complete nonsense! I connected both the positive and negative test leads to the multimeter but nothing worked so I carefully examined the connectors and found that the metal pins or contacts that go into the multimeter on the black wire were cracked and broken. I took a close look at the positive wire that was loose inside. To my dismay these multimeter wires are cheaply made in the part that connects to your real meter, the metal contacts inside are very thin and very flexible so you have to be very careful when connecting to the multimeter or they will bend and break easily. ! I have read reviews from other Revain customers who had no problems, unfortunately these pens are too flimsy and cheap in my opinion. I will look for another type and hope to find a better one.
