Poor manufacture and quality assurance

I was delighted with this kit. It had everything I needed and more. I was impressed by how accurate some of the tolerances are. However, the further I delve into the setup, the more frustrated I get. I'll try to break it down in more detail. Components: The overall design is great. I love the ingenuity of the latch design, but the quality control of all parts is seriously lacking. The return spring on the left latch was a full 4 pounds heavier than the right. This difference led to fixing problems even before the drives were installed. The latches were also slightly shorter than the standard blank latches, so little adjustment was required after installation. The worst part of the components were the brackets. The drive thread of the right side bracket was completely clogged. It's almost like they're crossovers, but it's hard to tell. So I need to find a faucet to clean them. Installation: As mentioned above, the difference in transom height caused it to take about 2 hours to adjust transom and latch. So keep that in mind when planning time for the installation. Additionally, the mounting locations on the two actuator mounts caused the actuators to be misaligned just enough to bind the linkage during assisted or unassisted movement (release). In other words, each time the latch was released, the linkage would get stuck as the actuator moved about 3mm further, preventing the latch from fully rebounding. I was able to fix most of it by adding a few more kinks to the lever wire, but the included actuator still creates enough drag that the latch doesn't fully return when closed, resulting in a "soft" latch (the latch doesn't no Fire). fully engaged), causing the sunroof to accidentally open while driving. I see the only way to fix this is to play with the mounting brackets and maybe add an extra return spring (I've tried many greases and lubes already). Overall I'm very disappointed with the amount of fabrication I've had to deal with in a kit that's meant to be plug and play and I haven't even gotten to the electrical part of the setup yet due to the mechanical issues I keep running into bump . Pop and Locke are very busy.
