The tool that came with the mirror caps is so flimsy and cheap it bends which resulted in me breaking my mirror. I watched a few youtube videos on how to remove the mirror prior to installation, they instructed to hold the mirror yourself and using the tool to remove the mirror glass from the inserts when trying to close the mirrors remove, the included tool actually flexes and applies pressure behind the mirror, causing it to break. Just great. The simple and "easy" installation now costs me over $450 for glass replacement as my real mirrors are OEM with heating and auto dimming. I was trying to save money by buying them and installing them myself, but it looks like I should have just had it done professionally to save money that I know goes to replacing my mirrors should. CM.
