It works well most of the time, but often doesn't read barcodes properly. When plugged in for charging, it may or may not scan a barcode. We disabled it and it's scanning normally again. Update: I downgraded the overall score because the scanner misreads barcodes too many times, or even passed the barcode to the checkout twice, which "sold" the item twice. It can be very embarrassing if the clerk doesn't notice it immediately, but the customer does.
