Great lighter for the price. Mine had a few minor scuffs on the side but for the price I'm not complaining. Make sure the flame regulator is fully closed; make sure that all pressure has been released from the fuel tank; filled with new butane; I slightly adjusted the flame from the closed one and turned on the ignition - it caught fire the first time. A few caveats: (1) don't open the flame regulator much further than the closed position - half open and it won't ignite; a quarter open and it lit up but it looked like a blowtorch. A small opening worked best for me. (2) My biggest complaint is that the flame adjuster is plastic and can break very easily as it's a little stiff to turn. Make sure you have the right size screwdriver head, otherwise you will break this fragile part and the lighter will become unusable. Now let's see how long it lasts.
