Not perfect, but ok.

I bought this to paint my outdoor stairwell as I didn't want to hire a job or invest in a complicated ladder system to use as scaffolding over the stairs. I started painting because I thought it was the best of the limited possibilities and my expectations were low. It worked. The idea is good, but difficult to implement without practice. I watched a number of YouTube videos on the advice of other reviewers to make sure I knew how much paint to load per pad each time and for other tips on using the tool. I practiced on the part of the wall where I could use a ladder to hold the device in my hand and it worked well - nice clear edges on the ceiling and door moldings without any markings on the ceiling. BUT be careful when using it on an extension cord. To get a clean line and keep the instrument from rotating sideways, you need to apply constant, strong pressure in the center of the device, but the limited vertical tilt means you have to stand squarely under the instrument (where you can't can exert a lot of pressure). the storey). When I bought it I assumed the vertical tilt at which the tool attaches to the pole is such that I could use it on ceilings as well, but that's due to the way it's constructed , not possible. I have a lot of gray paint on the ceiling but the walls are already done and I think it's good enough. But I have to hire someone to come and paint the ceiling. Note that in all the videos I've seen professionals have used it either by hand or on a very short (1-2ft) pole - I think that works best in these circumstances, but wouldn't for one Recommend power strip unless like me you have limited options and low expectations for the end product!
