Beautiful but difficult to use

Easy to assemble and install, but the assembly instructions could be clearer. However, this makes it much more difficult to install and move the ladder after it is installed as it somehow upsets the balance of the ladder. Also, a couple of the top rungs need to be lengthened to fit and this keeps those rungs from sliding down when the product is installed on my Werner 28ft fiberglass extension ladder. So basically, add some extra footage to your ladder before you even start lifting and extending it into place. In addition, it is difficult to make small adjustments once you have installed the ladder and the product is on the roof. Part of the problem is that the product's rubber feet grip the roof so well that the ladder doesn't want to move from side to side. And if you try to move the ladder in or out to adjust the angle, the legs actually hold the extension up and prevent it from snapping back into place without straightening the ladder again. I also ran into an issue where I couldn't perfectly align the stair no matter how square the piece was. To be fair, I did not measure the area of the product after assembly as indicated in the instructions. I have found it almost impossible for one person to install the ladder while this product is in place. However, the ladder feels very stable in use and that's the real deal. And it works great for accessing the gutters while cleaning. I believe that the difficulties of use will disappear over time as I get used to manipulating the stairs with the product installed. My only other downside is that it's really quite expensive for what it is.
