I have my doubts about that, but say in the same breath that I'll order a few more. The end product works really well, I just think they cost way more than they actually cost. You could do the same thing with some thin, torn wood paneling and some 1/2 x 2 notches around the perimeter. However, you would lose drawer space and you wouldn't have the flexibility to easily change your layout later. It won't look professional either. But $35 a box, add it up. What is it worth to you? These splints are nice and strong, the locking system works very well. Once assembled they will NOT hurt you and keep falling apart. However, they definitely do not gather and are not thrown in the form of an object. All tool boxes are different, both in size and design. If you haven't made any of these before, I highly recommend putting it all together and learning how the parts work before you start measuring and cutting. Just put it on the floor and play around a bit to see how it all works. This helped me a lot as the instructions aren't the best. Yes they have photos but they are too small to be of any value. I've also found video tutorials on YouTube, but again the frame shape is too far off to be really useful. I suspect 9 out of 10 setups will require some tweaking unless you're just building them in a square box. . The issues I had were mostly with the divider system, which was too tall to accommodate the front of the drawers where the edges of the handles are shaped like a bottom roller. I had to use a dremel and cut a few gap slots in several places. It was also more difficult due to the extra height of the rubber mat I use under the system. But it can be treated if you have enough patience. Don't forget to account for corner clamps when cutting. As always, measure seven times, cut once. There is not enough replacement material for errors in the marginal sections. On mine, I found that the perimeter pieces should be about 1 7/16 shorter than the overall length of the inside of the box. After assembling it turned out perfect. Another tip: I used a handheld miter saw to make the cuts so I could get perfectly straight cuts. This will be another important point for a reliable and trouble-free end product.
