Looking in the opposite direction

The mass airflow meter clearly shows this is for the '09 Audi A4 quattro I have but when I put it in it was pointed at the turbo and not the air filter so went he went in the opposite direction and also came out with 2 codes for my car. NOT RECOMMENDED!
