Air Leaks Through Seals

I bought this with the idea of using it to measure 2-stroke oil for a 50:1 fuel blend for my weight machines. The plunger seals are making poor contact with the barrel of the syringe, allowing air to bypass the seals. I tried using water instead of 2-stroke oil. I have chosen not to replace it. Very, very bad unit.
