The Tesla Model 3 Auto Rear Trunk Lifts were very easy to install. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the storage racks, then snap these upgraded heavy-duty racks into place. These interchangeable struts help fill the gap in an automatic liftgate that Tesla had to install at the factory. Comes with a washer and a small red spring so you don't need to buy any extra parts to have your Model 3 trunk open automatically. Once these spacers are installed you can open the trunk via the app, the touchscreen or simply by pressing the button underneath the trunk without having to lift it manually. I love this simple fix!
