Easy installation. It took me less than 5 minutes to install them. They work and the trunk finally opens as expected from the factory.

Love it! A video guide for all the stubborn bores like me would be nice, but I managed it. A fairly simple installation took about 10 minutes.

Great product that works as described. Just be careful when installing them and never hit, hit, smack or press on the glass. UPDATE - a year later the lift only keeps the trunk open if I manually lift it first.

I now have an automatic trunk release with one hand or via app! The barrel just needs to apply a little more pressure than before. The door opens a little lower than before, but that's a plus for me as it doesn't hit the joists in my garage.

Very easy to take out the old racks and replace with new ones. I held the folded cloth over the rear window so I wouldn't accidentally hit it. It takes a bit more force to close the trunk, but I don't see any seams/lines that deform. Otherwise, now when I open the trunk via the car/app or by pressing the button on the back, it opens fully at a good (not too hard) speed.

These trunk lifts were exactly what I needed, the most annoying thing in the world was having things in my hands when the trunk opened an inch. These elevators are strong and don't question me. I strongly recommend this product as a utilitarian product for your car and not something meant for looks. Now I'll try to add a frunk lift too! So excited about this product! I would 100% recommend it to anyone with a Model 3 as it should be standard.
