In short, it's the best Mavic (it's only Air 2S now). The 1 inch CMOS is great and even better for smaller planes, making it ideal for portability. I've only used it on a couple of flights and DJI really wins when it comes to handling. When deciding between Air 2S and Air 2, it all depends on the needs of the camera. If you don't need 5k (or have the ability to edit 5k), Air 2 is probably your best bet. Yes, you get a better color profile with the Air 2S, but the Air 2 has great color for most people. The only possible downside of this model is the lack of a side sensor for obstacle avoidance. This hasn't been a problem so far (and never has been with my Air 2).
