This scanner is AWESOME. I bought a used Mercedes and have an expensive scanner that reads various systems and codes. Knowing that MBs are unique, I considered this option for better diagnosis since I do most of the maintenance myself. This scanner pays for itself in no time as any MB dealer or service center will charge you more than the cost of diagnosing your car and simply plug in their own scanner. This scanner saved me hundreds of dollars by allowing me to diagnose some specific problems I was having. I was able to pinpoint exactly where my problem was coming from and fix problems without having to go to the dealership for repairs or even diagnostics. Even if you don't do the maintenance yourself, I'd recommend buying one so you can double-check any diagnostics you got at the shop. It's so good and reasonably priced and would be a great peace of mind.
