I ordered it to paint my ceramics. The two qualities that make this product great are its rubber base and the fact that it's a single piece that won't come loose. The rubber base sticks firmly to the surface. When you lift the turntable, it moves as a unit. I like the height and it can be placed on a box or other support to elevate it for painting. The top moves easily, but will not rotate with a heavy object. I don't know yet how this will work with big chunks. A 12 inch surface could be more useful.
